Our 3-Step Donation & Recycling Process
We take pride in our deep roots in the Fox Valley. When you hire us, your items often end up supporting local organizations like St. Vincent de Paul, Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill NCW, and Outagamie County Resource Recovery.
- 1. Donation Sorting: We identify gently used furniture, clothing, and household goods that still have life in them
- 2. Sort out Resources: Items that cannot be donated are sorted for scrap metal, clean wood, cardboard, and e-waste
- 3. Responsible Disposal: If it can't be recycled, we take the items to the local landfill here in the Fox Cities.
What We REcycle & Donate
Furniture / Houseware
- Donate-friendly: Sofas, dining sets, dressers, and lamps in good condition.
- Recyclable: Metal bed frames, glass tabletops, and wooden items.
Appliances & Scrap Metal
- Appliances: Refrigerators / AC units should be drained of refrigerants (Freon).
- Scrap: Everything from old copper piping to aluminum siding is hauled to local metal recyclers.
E-Waste / Electronics
- Computers, monitors, and printers.
- Old "tube" (CRT) and flat-screen televisions.
- Stereo equipment and small household electronics.
What Charities Will Accept
Charities in the Fox Cities (such as St. Vincent de Paul or Habitat for Humanity) have to follow strict safety and health codes. Items with tears, pet hair, cigarette odors, or broken pieces are almost always rejected because the charity can’t sell them.
If they won’t take it, we don’t just leave you hanging. We shift to Plan B and ensure the item is recycled for its raw materials (metal/wood) so it stays out of the landfill.

We work with local recycling companies to ensure that your recycled items can be reused. For example, we utilize the Outagamie County Resource Recovery Park for tires and appliances, and Alter Metal Recycling or Sadoff Iron & Metal for scrap.

Recycling & Donation FAQs
Do you pick up items just for donation?
Yes! While many charities have long wait times for their own pickup trucks, we can often arrive the same day. We charge a standard hauling fee for the labor and transport, but we ensure the items reach a local charity.
What happens if a charity refuses my furniture?
Local charities are sometimes picky based on their current inventory or item condition. If an item is rejected for donation, we will transition it to the proper recycling or disposal facility so you don’t have to deal with it twice.
Do you take paint or chemicals for recycling?
We cannot haul wet hazardous waste, such as paint, oil, and pesticides. However, we can help guide you for how to dispose of those items safely and legally with the Outagamie County.
